The Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has suspended Hon. Barrister Otonye Briggs as Chairman of the Caretaker Committee of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area, effective immediately.
As his replacement, Bitebobo Nelson Amieye has been appointed to take over as Chairman, with Briggs directed to hand over all council property to Amieye.
