Police operatives in Imo on Sunday foiled an attack by suspected hoodlums on a divisional headquarters in Umuakah, Njaba local government area of the state.
The spokesman for the state police command, Henry Okoye, confirmed the attack in a statement on Monday in Owerri.
He said three of the hoodlums were killed in the operation.
