“Heavy fine should be imposed on citizens who collected PVC but refused to vote” — Shehu Sani

Shehu Sani, the former senator for Kaduna Central, has pointed out the importance of imposing penalties on those who get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) but decide not to vote.

He believes that enforcing fines on individuals who hold a PVC yet skip voting could significantly tackle the issue of low voter turnout during elections.
