- President Bola Tinubu has visited Maiduguri, the Borno state capital, to share his sympathy and condolence with the government and people of the state over the recent flood disaster
- The president is reported to be planning an on the spot assessment of the effect of the flood disaster which consumed over 80 per cent of the capital’s major cities
- According to video pf his visit, Tinubu was received by Governor Babagana Zulum and other government officials in the state
President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to offer his condolences and support to the state government and affected residents following the recent devastating flood.
During his visit, the President will conduct an on-the-ground assessment of the flood’s impact on critical infrastructure, including residential areas, hospitals, markets, schools, and public facilities.
