Opunabo Inkor Tariah, the former Special Adviser on Media to ex-Governor Nyesom Wike, has voiced strong confidence that Governor Siminalayi Fubara will secure a second term if he opts to run in 2027.
In response to recent comments from Wike, Opunabo asserted that Fubara’s “mass-oriented projects” across all 23 local government areas in Rivers State have garnered widespread support from the public. He stated unequivocally that no one, including Wike, has the power to halt Fubara’s re-election campaign.
“Power comes from God,” Opunabo remarked. “Wike governed for eight years, and Rotimi Amaechi also governed for eight years. It’s only fair that Fubara serves two terms.”
