The 2023 Governorship Candidate and Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in Abia State during the 2023 general election, Dr Ukpai Iro Ukpai has defected to the Labour Party.
Dr Ukpai alongside his running mate Barr. Chiedozie Josiah, a Chieftain of the Party in the State, Chief David Urum, Candidates of the Party during the last Election, several Leaders and Members of the NNPP defected on Saturday citing the developmental strides of Governor Alex Otti.
