Olubadan promotes six chiefs

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, on Friday, promoted six traditional chiefs in the Balogun line.

The event took place at Olubadan’s palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

Oba Olakulehin charged the newly elevated traditional title holders to use their positions for the development of Ibadan land.

The royal father said the promotion was in line with the tradition of ascendancy to the Olubadan stool.
