Defence Minister Sympathises With Zulum Over Maiduguri Flood

The Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, has extended his heartfelt sympathy to the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum, over the recent devastating flood crisis in the state caused by the collapse of the Alau dam.

THE WHISTLER had earlier reported that the Alau dam, which had been at full capacity for a week, caused severe flooding, submerging several areas of the city including the Emir’s palace.
