NNPC hints at further increase, claims new petrol price didn’t reflect market realities

There are indications that the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited may still increase the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) popularly known as petrol beyond the current N855/litre if the statements credited to its executive vice-president, downstream, Adedapo Segun, are anything to go by.

The state oil company on Tuesday raised the pump price of PMS to N855/litre in many parts of the country.

However, in Abuja and other states the product is sold for between N897 to N905/litre.
