Executive Director of Lokiaka, Martha Agbani stated this on Wednesday during a programme to flag-off the planting of one million mangroves in Teenama community of Rivers State.
She said the initiative is to restore the livelihoods of the people as fishing, which has been cut short by the disappearance of mangroves in the area.
