The subtle war of words and exchange of barbed insults between former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri and veteran journalist and publisher of Ovation International Magazine, Dele Momodu, may not end anytime soon following a resumption of hostilities.
The resumption of the war was kick-started by Omokri in a post on X on Monday where he compared bandits and criminals who are loyal to their colleagues to politicians and christians who are not loyal to their principals and pastors.
With an old picture of President Bola Tinubu alongside that of Momodu when they were political allies, Omokri wrote:
