The Premier League allowed the Blues to register the sale of two hotels to a sister company for £76.5million and the transfer of ownership of the women’s team to the club’s parent company.
However, UEFA will not approve such transactions under its financial rules.
Each case will be investigated individually by UEFA’s independent panel.
