The Abia State House of Assembly, in an emergency setting on Tuesday passed HAB 21, the Abia State 2024 Appropriation Virement Bill into Law.
The Bill, which was sponsored by the Majority Leader, Okoro Uchenna Kalu, member representing Arochukwu state constituency sought to vire the sum of One Hundred and Seventy One Billion, Seventy Four Million, Six Hundred and Sixty Four Thousand, Nine Hundred and Sixty Five Naira only, in the 2024 Abia State Appropriation Law for the services of the Government of Abia State of Nigeria for the year ending 31st Day of December, 2024 and for other related purposes.
