Hoodlums stole documents of Ganduje's corruption trial – Kano govt

The criminal case documents filed against the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje have been declared missing after the #EndBadGovernance protest in Kano.

What began as a peaceful demonstration against hunger and poverty in the country subsequently turned violent after suspected hoodlums hijacked the possession, and destroyed public and private properties including the state high court where sensitive materials were carted away.

Spokesperson of Kano State Government House, Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, in a statement, said Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf disclosed that the vandals were allegedly sponsored by politicians who succeeded in breaking through the registry and carted away corrupt charges documents of the former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

The governor said this after he was conducted round the damaged high court premises by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Haruna Isa Dederi, on Tuesday.
