Atletico Madrid have confirmed the signing of Julian Alvarez from Manchester City in a record deal worth £81.5m ahead of the 2024-25 La Liga season.

The Argentina forward ended his two-year stay at the Etihad to team up with Diego Simeone’s side on a six-year deal.
