PRP condemns alleged police brutality during #EndBadGovernance protest in Bauchi

The Bauchi State chapter of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), has condemned what it termed police brutality against protesters during Monday’s EndBadGovernance protest in Azare town in Katagum local government area of the State where some of the demonstrators were allegedly manhandled and arrested.

The party, in a statement issued by the State Secretary, Hon. Abdulazeez Haruna, said it was deeply shocked and appalled by the brutal and merciless brutality exhibited by security operatives during EndBadGovernance protest.

The party also condemned the attendant violence, looting and vandalism on the part of the protesters which led to the action of the security operatives which led to one of the protesters being shot dead by a police officer.
