President Bola Tinubu will on Sunday (tomorrow) address the nation in a national broadcast at 7:00 am.
Tinubu, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Saturday, enjoined television, radio, and other electronic media outlets to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast.
The statement explained that the broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day.
Ostensibly to thaw the rising tension in the country, President Tinubu’s broadcast is coming against the backdrop of growing public concern that he has, curiously, kept mute over the protests and other sundry allegations of crackdown against demonstrators.
