The Blues released a 28-man list on its official website on Monday, July 22, 2024, with some notable names missing out on the flight to the US. Some of the key players Chelsea left out of the tour include, Trevor Chalobah, Djordje Petrovic, Deivid Washington, Cesare Casadei, David Fofana, Bashir Humphreys, Alfie Gilchrist, and, Omari Kellyman.
Most Chelsea supporters have expressed their displeasure via social media as it concerns the club’s decision to leave out Chalobah from the squad. However, reports from the club confirm that it was a difficult decision to leave out the player but it was due to the number of the players in that position that forced their hands.
