Johnson, a Nigerian-Canadian with more than three decades of expertise, said he was concerned about the development in the aviation industry because the industry is critical to the overall economic wellbeing of the country.
In an article he penned on Nigeria’s aviation sector, he said the sector was in a critical state as safety violations persist, aggravated by some of the policy decisions of the Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
He pointed out that some of the policy decisions and actions “have caused uncertainty among passengers and stakeholders while severely tarnishing the reputation of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).
