The National Media Complaints Commission (The Ombudsman), (NMCC) has disclosed that it has commenced investigation into alleged fake news published by Daily Trust Newspaper.
Recall that the Federal Government through the Information Minister, Alhaji Mohammed Idris accused Daily Trust Newspaper of publishing an article on July 4, 2024, containing false and misleading information that severely threatens national security.
