Kenya’s former world record holder, Brigid Kosgei has pulled out of the 2024 Olympics after suffering an injury.
Kosgei set a world record 2 hours 14min 04sec for the women’s marathon in Chicago 2019, and she was on course to participate in her second Olympics after she was named in her country’s marathon line-up.
