FG Suspends Tax On Importation Of Rice, Wheat, Others

The Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, on Monday, announced the suspension of duties, tariffs and taxes on the importation of some food items through land and sea borders.

The Agric minister, Abubakar Kyari, who disclosed this at a press briefing in Abuja, said it was in line with the President Bola Tinubu’s directive to address food insecurity in Nigeria.
