Following the recent security situation in some parts of the state, Abia state government has announced the restriction of the operation of tricycles and motorcycles between the hours of 7pm and 6am daily in Aba and Umuahia with effect from 1st July , 2024.
The Commissioner for Local Goverment and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzor Nwachukwu announed this at a news conference held at his office after the meeting with stakeholders in the state’s transport sector.
