This achievement places Burna Boy alongside his fellow Nigerian artist, Wizkid, as the only two African musicians to have achieved over a billion streams in the UK. Burna Boy’s global impact extends beyond streaming numbers, as he also holds the record for the highest-charting African album on the UK charts with his 2022 album, Love, Damini, which reached number one.
