How I Convinced My Clergy Parents To Allow Me Become Fashion Influencer — Queen Light

In a traditional African society, parents often have a deep influence on the career choice of their children, predominantly as part of their responsibility to guide and raise them right. Queen Light found passion in dancing early in life. The love was so incurable that she attended a dancing school. She received her primary education at Project Nursery and Primary School, and her secondary education at Federal Government College Ikom, both in Cross River State, where she hails from. She proceeded to Cross River State University of Technology in Calabar, to pursue a degree in Elementary Education.

Queen Light is one of five siblings. Her attachment to arts and entertainment was further fuelled by digital revolution and according to her, it has been rewarding. She regularly churns out unique content and stands tall among the droves in her community of online acts. Her sense of fashion and creativity quickly made her a choice for fashion brands, to promote their identities and products.

The actress was not initially on the same page with her parents about her career choice from the outset. It took a promise before Queen Light convinced them of her ambition and choice.
