Nnamdi Kanu files contempt charge against DSS DG, Bichi

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has filed a contempt charge against the Director General, Department of State Services (DSS), Yusuf Bichi, over his alleged refusal to obey court orders.

Kanu, through his lawyer, Aloy Ejimakor, filed Form 49 titled “Notice to Show Cause Why An Order of Committal Should Not Be Made,” at the Federal High Court (FHC), Abuja, on Monday.

The application, marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/383/2015, is dated and filed on June 10.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that while the Federal Republic of Nigeria is listed as complainant/1st respondent, Yusuf Magaji Bichi is listed as the second respondent/contemnor.
