The Rivers State Government has clarified the Monday court ruling handed down by the State High Court presided over by Justice Okogbule Gbasam that the court never affirmed Martin Amaewhule and 26 others as members of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
This followed reports that Justice Gbasam, despite a subsisting order from another Rivers State High Court barring Martin Amaewhule and 26 others from parading themselves as members of the Rivers State House of Assembly, had granted a relief sought by Hycent Wosa-Amadi and three others against the 27 lawmakers.
