NGO Pays Tuition Fees For Students In Rivers

A non-governmental organisation, Krisonet Metaverse Community (KMC), has paid the tuition fees of eight students of six primary and secondary schools in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

The benefiting students are from Cynclair International School, Diocesan Educational Centre, Adventist Nursery and Basic Education Centre, Matinon Nursery and Primary School and The Threshold School.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP Sunday, leader of KMC, Evangelist Happiness Etuk said the organisation has a different mindset of helping people.

“Krisonet Metaverse Community is a called-out people that have a different mindset towards helping one another. We are not depending on any organisation, any individual or any government. We are here to be of help to one another.

“Children should keep down their head to learn. We are in a society where everybody wants to make money including the children. Before you know, they will leave studying and go for money and they begin to dabble into yahoo and the rest.

“Government should get involved even in the private schools because when we are no more there, these children are the ones that will take over. Government should make sure they regulate the education sector,” Etuk said.
