The President of the Nigeria Labour Congres (NLC) Comrade Joe Ajaero and his counterpart at the Trade Union Congress (TUC) Comrade Festus Osifo on Friday declared an indefinite nationwide strike starting from Monday, June 3, 2024.
The decision was taken after the federal government refused to increase the earlier N60,000 minimum wage proposal. The meeting had ended in a deadlock.
