The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) on Friday referred to the reinstatement of Bola-Audu Innocent as the Chief Accountant in the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation as “shady and scandalous” saying it is a “violation of the public service rules of Nigeria”.
Innocent is still on trial with suit no: FCT/HC/CR/738/23 at the FCT High Court Maitama for alleged fraud on February 15, 2024, by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), and suit No: CA/AB)/CR/704/23 at the Court of Appeal on a suspected case of Human Trafficking and Exploitation of the vulnerable by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).
