Oleksandr Usyk defeated Tyson Fury by a split decision at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, unifying the WBA, WBO, WBC, and IBF world titles to become the first undisputed heavyweight champion of the four-belt era, and the first overall in 25 years since Lennox Lewis.
The fight saw Fury nearly stopped in the ninth round when Usyk landed a powerful left hook, causing Fury to receive a standing count. Usyk ultimately secured the victory with scores of 115-112, 113-114, and 114-113, adding the WBC title to his collection of belts.
