Ondo election: Gunmen assassinate Aiyedatiwa's campaign coordinator

Gunmen on Sunday assassinated Alaba Excel Abbey, a campaign coordinator for Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

Police spokesman in Ondo State Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said the state command had launched an investigation into the brutal killing.

“The state command is aware of the incident (killing) but investigation is ongoing to unravel all that happened,” she said.
