Incoming BORBDA MD Must Be Of Benin Extraction, Says BNC

The Benin National Congress, (BNC), has solicited for the appointment of a Benin indegene as the incoming managing director of the Benin Owena River Basin Development Authority (BORBDA)
to correct what the group described as “42 years of marginalisation of the Benins” in the authority’s management.

BNC, a Benin socio-cultural organization, while making the call when its 14 members delegation paid a courtesy visit to the BORBDA management headed by Engr. Saliu Osifuemhe Ahmed also called on the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, the supervising ministry to intensify efforts in ensuring that the alleged marginalization meted on the Benins in BORBDA are reduced to the bearest minimum.
