FCT, Abuja – Senator Jibrin Barau, the deputy president of the Nigerian Senate, has been appointed as the interim speaker of the sixth legislature of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) parliament.
Senator Barau, who leads the Nigerian delegation to the ECOWAS Parliament, assumed the position during the assembly’s inauguration in Abuja on Thursday, April 4.
