The players and officials of the African champions, South Africa women’s national team will land in Nigeria on Easter Monday for the Paris Olympics final qualifying fixture against the Super Falcons.
Coach Desiree Ellis’ side will arrive in Abuja on Monday, April 1, 2024, ahead of the first leg of the final round of the Paris 2024 Olympics Qualifiers.
Home-based players will depart South Africa with officials on the same day of arrival.
Foreign players are expected to join the South African counterparts in Nigeria from their various bases.
The first leg of the fourth round of the Olympics Qualifiers is scheduled for Friday, April 5 with the trying leg four days later in South Africa.
The winner of the game on aggregate will qualify for the women’s football event of the Olympics where World Champions Spain, Asian giants Japan, and South America champions Brazil await in Group C.
