The Japanese international whose current contract ends in 2025 decided to sign an extra year deal with an option to extend by a further year. The announcement of Tomiyasu’s contract was announced on Arsenal’s website on Wednesday, March 20, 2023, ust a few days after Ben White committed his future to the London club until 2028.
Tomiyasu has been instrumental for Arsenal since he joined the Premier League side from Bologna in 2021. Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta expressed his excitement when asked about his opinion on the defemder’s decision to sign a new deal.
