In response to a demand by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Senate President Godswill Akpabio to step down following the suspension of Bauchi Central Senator Abdul Ningi, the spokesman for the Senate, Senator Yemi Adaramodu, has categorically stated that Akpabio has no intention of resigning from his position.
The call for Akpabio’s resignation came after the Senate suspended Senator Ningi for three months over his claims of budget padding amounting to N3.7 trillion.
