Food Inflation Hits All-Time High Of 37.92% As Price Of Non-Alcoholic Beverages Soars

Food inflation in Nigeria has spiked to an all-time high of 37.92 per cent in February, supporting the rationale behind the latest interest rate hike by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

According to the National Bureau of Statistics, the headline inflation rate increased to 31.70 per cent compared to the January 2024 rate, which was 29.90 per cent.
