BENIN – Honourable Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama, one of the frontline Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship aspirants, for the Edo State governorship election slated for September 21, has withdrawn from the race.
Ogbeide-Ihama, in his letter of withdrawal, dated February 12, 2024, and addressed to the National Secretary of the party, Sen. Sam Anyanwu, attributed his action on lack of confidence in the electoral committee as constituted by the National Working Committee (NWC) and the entire process.
