Armed policemen on Wednesday arrested the National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Barrister Julius Abure. Blueprint gathered that he was arrested in Benin, Edo state capital. However, reason for his arrest was not ascertained as at the time of filling this report as police authorities are yet to react. Abure faces allegations of embezzling about N3billion of party funds.
