Kidnapped victim’s wife pleads with Tinubu, IGP to secure husband’s release

Wife of one of the kidnapped victims of an 18-seater bus along Akunu-Akoko in Ondo State, Bukola Atitebi, has cried out to President Bola Tinubu, the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun and Nigerians for help in securing her husband’s release.

Mrs Atitebi appealed to President Tinubu and Mr Egbetokun to expedite action in securing the release of her husband, Atitebi Tolulope Elijah, and the remaining 17 passengers from their abductors.

She told PREMIUM TIMES that the kidnappers were demanding a ransom of N50 million before releasing her husband.
