One of the team’s midfielders, Cole Palmer has explained what is working right for the club in recent games after the back-to-back defeats against Liverpool and Aston Villa. According to him, there is a believe in the squad, among the players and also the club’s manager.
“We do have meetings and he believes in us. We believe in ourselves, but everyone will talk if you’re not doing well. We just need to try and block it out and focus on ourselves. There’s always a lot of talk, you know what football fans are like, and rightly so [that we get discussed]. Chelsea is a big club, and we’ve seen them win many things for a long time. If we don’t get results, they will be onto us. But I think you’ve seen in the last two games that we are trying to stick together in our development and to keep going as a team.”
