Implementing code of ethics and conduct in civil service is crucial to providing guidelines for both workers and elected officials, while its effectiveness lies in complementing such with training and leadership abilities of different categories of officers for effective service delivery.
Chairman of Ogun State Civil Service Commission, Engr. Tokunbo Odebunmi, stated this during a symposium organised by the commission for its management staff with the theme, ‘Strict Adherence to the Rules and Regulations in Treating Issues in Civil Service’, at the Conference Hall, Obas’ Complex, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
