A Dubai-based African songwriter and producer, Dawda, has unveil his debut single, “Wine”, which is a fusion of Afrobeat and R&B as well as contemporary sounds.
The single is on the label of music studio, LPME Records, trailblazing music studio based also based in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the creation of “Wine,” the studio collaborated with creatives from the region, including an up-and-coming UAE- based African designer, dancers, and creative directors.
Speaking on the development in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP Sunday in Port Harcourt yesterday, Dawda said said he released his own music after years of writing and producing for artists all over the world, to show how proud he is with his African heritage.
He said: “I have been writing and producing songs for artists from all over the world. When I decided to release my own music, I wanted to make sure that I bring across how proud I am of my African heritage and how influential African music has been for me.
I am very excited to bridge my experience to contribute to and get creative with the music coming out of there.”
Dawda, who has previously written songs for acclaimed artists such as Ashley Tisdale, Charice, Sean Kingston, Snoh Aalegra, Iyaz, Mohombi, Bayanni, Singah, and more, is set to release more singles in the coming months.
An EP is also in the works, featuring a blend of slow and uptempo songs with elements of Afrobeat, Afroswing, Hip Hop, R&B, Amapiano, and more.
