The rerun/by-elections conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the weekend, as ordered by the courts in 80 local government councils across 26 states of the federation, raises concerns about how long it could take the country to organise a credible process that would reflect the will and desire of the electorate and devoid of violence.
