The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna has arrested three individuals, Musa Gideon, Abdul Adamu, and Justine Musa, for suspected racketeering involving N1,307,400.
The arrest took place on Yakubu Gowon way, Kaduna, as the suspects attempted to sell both new and old Naira notes to an undercover EFCC operative.
The operation also seized many Automated Teller Machine cards. The EFCC, in its commitment to enforcing laws against currency mutilation and economic distortions, has established a Special Task Force in all Zonal Commands, aiming to safeguard the economy from abuses and leakages.
