LAGOS – The State Commandant, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Lagos Command, Mr Adedotun Keshinro, on Saturday, 3rd February, 2024, personally monitored the by – election, which took place at the Surulere Federal Constituency 1.
Keshinro deployed two hundred ( 200 ) personnel of the command comprising officers and other ranks to boost election security in all the polling units and collation centres.
In a statement.by DSC Abolurin Oluwaseun, the
Civil Defence, Public Relations Officer,
Lagos State Command, Keshinro was quoted as saying that the by – election was largely observed to be very smooth, credible and peaceful without any form of apprehension, intimidation, fear, coersion and glitch in all the nooks and crannies of the constituency largely because of the adequate presence of security apparatus drawn from various services.
