A recent report by SBM Intelligence revealed that in the last quarter of 2023, between October to December, no fewer than 129 security personnel lost their lives, including 67 soldiers and 31 police officers.
The casualties also include operatives from the Department of State Security (DSS), correctional officers, customs officers, and members of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
