INEC, Stakeholders Should Do More To Rebuild Trust, Restore Confidence In Electoral Process, Institution – IPC

ABUJA – Ahead of future elections, starting with the February 3,2024 reruns and bye-elections in about 35 constituencies across the country, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been urged to collaborate with critical stakeholders to restore citizens confidence in the electoral process and institutions.

Speaking at a one-day roundtable organized by the International Press Center in Abuja, public analyst, Jide Ojo said the electoral commission must carry out urgent and thorough housecleaning as a first step to shore up confidence in the institution and electoral process generally.
