House Leader impeached over alleged indecent dressing in Edo state

Mrs. Joy Ohonyon, the leader of the Legislative arm of Owan West local government council in Edo state, has been impeached.

The impeachment was carried out by legislative council members, citing allegations of improper dressing during plenary, divulging official information, preventing plenary sessions, wrong use of parliamentary language, and lacking the intellectual capacity to lead the House.
